I have worked extensively with children and adolescents and understand the precious nature of this clinical relationship. I believe in a collaborative approach with families, taking into account their varying opinions and experiences, with the mutual goal of improving the child/adolescent's respective condition. I enjoy working with children of all ages, getting to know and understand the unique perspective of each family I encounter. My goal is to provide a compassionate, warm and supportive environment for you and your family. I consciously strive to use medication only when suitable and at the safest dosage available. I have had years of experience practicing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which is a time-limited treatment that has been validated by clinical research studies for a number of common mental health problems. In most cases, I use my extensive training in various therapies with my patients and often see positive results doing this alone or in conjunction with medication.
